Workshops at the St. John's Farmers' Market

The St. John’s Famer’s Market is every Saturday at the Lion's Club Chalet on Bonaventure Avenue, 9am-2pm.

 

Workshops take place at 11:00 AM.

• Oct 31st: Healthy Eating for Kids! It's Halloween - what better time to talk about this important subject? - various guest presenters (+ fun kids' activities)

NLEN Annual General Meeting

The NLEN AGM is usually held once a year in various locations around the province. Here are the dates and locations of our most recent AGMs.

 

2009: Oct 17th, NLEN Annual General Meeting, Bonne Bay Marine Station (Carpooling from St. John's area on the 16th and returning on the 18th)

GreenSpeak Radio

 

Green Speak Radio is back on the air at CHMR 93.5 FM! Tune in Monday's at 4 PM with host Rick Kelly for interviews with a new guest each week from the Newfoundland and Labrador environmental community as well local music. Visit the GreenSpeak Radio page for more information and downloads.

 

Lunch and Learns

 

These gatherings offer member groups an opportunity to teach others about projects they are working on and to network and socialize with others in the environmental community. Lunch and Learns are an hour session held at lunch time at the Environmental Gathering Place. If you would like to present on a project or issue, contact us and we will help organize a Lunch and Learn for your group. See Events for upcoming Lunch and Learns!
