Capacity Building Workshops for Non Profits in Newfoundland and Labrador
The NLEN recently received grants from Mountain Equipment Coop, the provincial Department and Conservation and VOCM Cares to offer three skills building workshops to environmental non-profit organizations in Newfoundland and Labrador. We partnered with the Protected Areas Association to bring in experts to facilitate sessions on fundraising, community based social marketing and media/communications training in the past year. The sessions were facilitated by Ken Wyman, Ken Donnely, and Elizabeth May, respectively.
