The Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities (PUB) will be holding public meetings as part of their Muskrat Falls review beginning Monday, Feb. 13 and continuing for about two weeks.

The meetings will begin 9:30 a.m. each day at: Suite E210, Prince Charles Building, 120 Torbay Road, St. John’s.

Sessions from Feb. 13-16 are being reserved for presentations by Nalcor Energy and Manitoba Hydro International.

The subsequent sessions, from Feb. 20-23 are for presentations from other interested parties and members of the public.

Anyone interested in participating can do so by: putting their questions to the Consumer Advocate, who can put them on record; requesting to be scheduled for a presentation, or submitting a letter by email, mail or through the board’s website.

The board may arrange for presentations by video conference.

Requests to present directly to the board have to be entered by Feb. 15 and the last day the board will be receiving comment is Feb. 29.

“All presentations, comments and submissions will form a part of the public record. A full name, address, phone number and/or email is required for contact purposes; however, personal and private information will not be released publicly without prior consent,” the PUB has stated.

According to a news release from the PUB this morning, the sessions will be webcast and accessible through the PUB’s website (http://www.pub.nf.ca/). Daily transcripts will also be made available.
