On January 30th, Grenfell will be the first stop on We Canada’s pan-Canadian Earth Summit 2012 tour — we are also the only place in NL to be visited by the tour.
The event will be an interactive lecture to facilitate discussions on the link between democracy and sustainability, and to encourage youth and civic engagement in Canada’s role in the UN Earth Summit 2012.

Free and open to everyone.
The event: Youth leaders and sustainability veterans will bring the community together to discuss the role of youth and civic engagement in democracy in the context of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Earth Summit 2012, Rio+20), and to take transformative actions. The event is hosted by Grenfell’s Environmental Policy Institute in partnership with the GCSU.
